- To have a default value for filters. For example, if you have a country column and you can predefine a default value of "UK". Then when the page loads it will only show all rows filter by "UK". I have checked all examples and I cannot find a single example with defaults values. I hope that this feature is easy to add - I have funny feeling that this might be a very difficult problem. The closest resemblance is Pagination that filters rows on page load.
