# Negative

- `Negative()`

Validates whether the input is a negative number.

```php
v::numericVal()->negative()->assert(-15);
// Validation passes successfully
```

### `Negative::TEMPLATE_STANDARD`

|  `default` | {{subject}} must be a negative number     |
| `inverted` | {{subject}} must not be a negative number |
