Environment

Custom menu version: 4.1.0
Nextcloud version: 30.0.6
PHP version: 8.3.17
Web server (Nginx, Apache2): apache2 (with reverse proxy)
Web browser and version (Firefox 80, Google Chrome 74, etc): Chrome, Safari, probably all

Configuration

Steps to reproduce

Upgrade to custom menu v 4.1.0

Observed Results

The side menu lost it's color. It is now white on black. The color values are correctly set in the configuration (and are displayed correctly in the configuration dialog).
The nine-dot-menu icon also lost it's color, it is now white.

Expected Results

The side menu keeps the configured colors after update.

Everything worked correctly with the last version. I already tried clearing the cache and re-saving the configuration to no avail.
