This feature request is related to #53.

Description

Currently, apps can be shown in their respective app-store category, but the problem is that this can look very weird in the menu. We let users test it with these default category columns, but they said that this was very confusing and why we can't change the apps to be in custom - admin defined - category columns.

This feature request describes the ability, to create custom app-categories -in addition to the already existing ones - and to move applications into that admin-defined categories to create custom menu sturctures.

Benefits

Let admins define a logical menu structure that fits their nextcloud install to enable easier structurization and thus navigation in bigger instances.

Language problems

At first, you could configure it to use a single string for the custom categories - translation functionality might be added later, since most users use the standard language setting anyways.

Could you test the attached version please?

Workflow:

Create custom categories (Custom categories → +). Langs are detected by looking at users's lang
You can update/delete a custom category by clicking on its name
After saving settings, you will be able to assign categories to application and sort them
