NumericVal

  • NumericVal()

Validates whether the input is numeric.

v::numericVal()->isValid(-12); // true
v::numericVal()->isValid('135.0'); // true

This rule doesn't validate if the input is a valid number, for that purpose use the Number rule.

Templates

NumericVal::TEMPLATE_STANDARD

Mode Template
default {{name}} must be a numeric value
inverted {{name}} must not be a numeric value
