# Xdigit

- `v::xdigit()`
|
|
|
|
Accepts an hexadecimal number:
|
|
|
|
```php
|
|
v::xdigit()->validate('abc123'); // true
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
Notice, however, that it doesn't accept strings starting with 0x:
|
|
|
|
```php
|
|
v::xdigit()->validate('0x1f'); // false
|
|
```
